It would be best if you used either a Buzzard or an Oppressor Mark II to get to the location as you will need to clear out the patrolling attack helicopters and boats.
The Oppressor will descend gradually, but you can gain altitude and repeat the same. You will reach the targets much faster by following this strategy.

When scoping out Cayo Perico for the second time, (steal the plane from the drug more info dealers,) the yellow dot mission marker will not display, not allowing the player to fly to Cayo Perico.
It is quite useful to have at least one Heavy in the squad that can deal out damage while being able to absorb a ton. Having something useful like the Bull Shark Testosterone can be the difference-maker between success and failure during the Cayo Perico Heist in GTA On-line.
